The paper explains the working definition of management, specifically, how it functionally deduces
from the managerial performance. It concentrates on the roles of managers as found in the textbook
elements, three different authors; Gavetti, Kanter and Mintzberg as well as collaborating conventional
literatures. It underscores various terms that have been in use frequently; assessing how they affects
corporate outcomes. The methodology is to analyze the three main articles on the role of CEOs and
enumerate their functions- the attempt to evaluate few efficient methods to measure an effective
enterprise performance
Peoples, Culture and Mass Media as Agent of Cultural Imperialism
Culture comprises the whole complex of distinctive spiritual, intellectual and emotional features that characterize society, our thought about life, and our ideas. Culture shape the way we see world, it has capacity to bring about the change of attitudes needed to ensure peace and sustainable development which we know form the only possible way forward for life on planet earth. This paper examined increasing in cultural dominance that one culture exerts over another as a function of the relation of both overall efficiencies, in the sense that flood of cultural elements pour from dominant culture on the dominated. Mass media was studied under the three theories: the limited effect theory, class Dominant theory and Culturalist theory. Mass media is found represents one of the most significant institutions, the powerful tool for socialization as well as cultural domination. Domination here means holding superiority or mastery in our strength and to suppress or overshadow us in dominance, recognition and prestige. It involves the exercise of great influence in the society as well as political and economic influence. The work suggests that, since communication is interwoven with every aspect of life, the future of mass media must be considered of utmost importance in overall social, cultural, moral, economic goals of the nation. To ensuring a bright future for our cultural heritage, we need a revolutionary Nigeria mass media which can present and carry forward revolutionary purpose of promoting our heritage
Towards a Hybrid Approach to the Theory of Motivation: A proponent of Contemporary View of Motivation
The paper describes the classical theories of Motivation, and in a relational dictum provides a
contemporary view. The various managerial views into subject of motivation take stem from the
diverse views and proponent of the notion. The paper proposes a hybrid theory, which may combine
the most meaningful characteristics from a range of available theories of Motivation
Insights into Cyber Policies, Information Technology Governance (ITG) and, Multi-stakeholder Security Governance Scaling (MSGS) for Decision Makers within UK SME Aviation
A cyber policy can always be at an efficacy with the robust implementation of Information Technology Governance
(ITG). Analysing the linkages that may exist between ITG and Information Technology Governance (ITG), together with
the benefits of theorising scaling and scalability in such derivation is desirable in other to support decision making and
identify framework impediments to implementing cyber policy in the SME Aviation. In this paper, we define the term
cyber policy, discusses ITG and MSGS (a framework for cyber policy). We clarify the framework for cyber policy
(including major reviews, strategic elements, and benefits of the cyber policymaking to different stakeholders). We also
explore impediments to cyber policy implementation, evaluates frameworks and models on cyber policy implementation
approaches with SME Aviation and justifies the need for secondary data in researching with the rising issues. We
posited that when ITG and business policy aligned to entail lack of awareness of global and local threats to
cybersecurity, inadequate security infrastructures and the need for more experts involved in decision making, there is
the need for a new approach to cyber policy implementation for robust competitivenes
An Investigation of The Vulnerability of Information Technology Governance (ITG) Models And Multi-Stakeholder Security Governance Scaling (MSGS) Correlates that Supports Decision-Makers Scalability Mechanism for the Successful Implementation of ITG Within UK's SME Aviation
Primarily, our focus on secondary data obtainable from journal articles and a futurelearn.com study platform will be
used to collect data on SME decision-makers. Data will also be raised on stakeholder views considering the obstacles
to the implementation of ITG by SMEs. Such an opportunity will provide a basis for future research on why SMEs are
becoming involved in the application of ITG models. Further information on how such could help in the successful
implementation of ITG by SMEs will be explored/evaluated. Subsequently, this includes theorising scaling in ITG to
determine the correlation between ITG and MSGS. Similarly, a fuller insight becomes achievable by the researcher on
the implementable ITG; whereby the strategy is compared to the theory in practice. The findings remain a contribution
to knowledge. This section – Research Methods will give the subtleties of the optional information procedure embraced
to address the examination issues recognised above, together with the methods for gathering information for the
investigation, including the interpretation and the examination of the data received. The paper concludes by highlighting
the constraints with the choice of secondary data strategy and its usage
QUALITY BASED ASSESSMENT FOR CONTEMPORARY LEADERSHIP – THE CASE OF STEVE JOBS
In this paper, the authors discuss different reasons for the choice of Steve Jobs as a leader. It summarizes several primary
concepts that shape matter about who is a leader? In addition, it attempts to provide collaborative evidence into argument about
Leadership. Overall, it is about an exhibition of leadership. The methodology is to present, evaluate and analyze several qualities
of a Leader that have been identified by some scholars. Conclusively, it asserts that it is expedient to concentrate on lessons
learnt from various leaders and apply such lessons in a subsequent engagement with the subject of leadership

Stakeholder’s Theory, Management, Performance, Techniques & result
Universities across the world have been converging towards entrepreneurship, by taking a more active role in society and
economy, as well as educating students. This article assesses entrepreneurship education in Nigeria in the context of the
policies and strategies of the Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti, a private higher education, to generate innovation out of
academic knowledge production. The article considers four facilitators of entrepreneurship, namely, incentive structures,
supporting infrastructure, management style, and corporate culture, and submits that the University’s combination of high
academic standards, quality and stability of its leadership, vocational orientation, and significant incentives for good
performance are enabling factors stimulating its entrepreneurial developments. The objective of this article is to offer a
blueprint for policy makers, curriculum developers, and other stakeholders responsible for developing and implementing
entrepreneurship promotion efforts in Nigerian universities
Capacity Integration into a Microgrid, a Tool for Electrical Energy Supply Cost Reduction in Nigeria- Covenant University as a Case Study
The cost implication of running a cluster
of stand-alone power generating plants was
investigated using the generating capacities of the
generators and consumption (load) profile obtained
from a campus based substation. Analysis of the
results revealed a lot of unused available capacity
within the system which invariably increases the
operating cost of power generation within the
campus. Integrating the power generators into a
microgrid was suggested where there will be a
common pool of energy sources and all loads
attached to the network. The proposed network
model seeks to reduce power plant engagement by
integrating the generating power plants into a
microgrid system. To overcome the challenge of
synchronization in the AC platform as the power
generators are dissimilar, the network is designed to
operate as a DC microgrid where the AC generating
plants and loads will be interfaced by converters
(rectifiers) and inverters respectively. This method
reduced the unused capacity being wasted by
reducing power plant engagement and consequently
reducing the running cost of power generation in
the campus
Development and implementation of a miniature RFID system in a shopping mall environment
The advancement of technology has brought about the need for industrial innovation. One area where innovation is required in a developing country is in the retail industry (this is the focus point of this project) where the present system that is the barcode technology is old and archaic. This project is based on the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to create a faster, easier and more secured checkout system. This paper showcases the development of a miniature RFID desktop application that can be used for registering items coming into a shopping mall, checking out of goods bought from the shopping mall and the detection of an attempt to steal goods from the shopping mall, using both C# programming language and MySQL for the database management
